Welcome to the Middleburg Heights Ski Club!

We will be participating in the Boston Mills Ski Club Program on Tuesdays this season.  Our program consists of 6 consecutive Tuesday sessions beginning on January 10, 2017, provided there are adequate ski conditions as determined by Boston Mills.  Ski Club is open to all 5th, 6th, 7th and 8th grade students.  3rd and 4th graders at least 8 years old by January 1, 2017 may join provided a parent or guardian will be on premises. Younger students wanting to participate may group up with one adult there for the group. Please ask about this.

It is not necessary to know how to ski or snowboard, this is a learn to ski/board program.  If the student is already a skier or snowboarder he or she will be tested and placed in a more advanced group for lessons.  Advanced skiers may also work toward a racing pin, mogul pin or snow pro pin. If a student misses a week there are no make-up lessons.

Each Session Includes:

  • Approximately 3.5 hours of skiing 3:15pm-6:45pm
  • Lessons
  • Rental of skis, poles and boots or snowboard, if renting gear

Additional Benefits:

  • After the first six weeks, skiers are permitted to use their hangtag/club card as a lift ticket to ski/board every Tuesday for the remainder of the season!
  • Rental equipment is included, if applicable.
  • Each member will receive a value pass (encoded into student’s RDIF Club Pass) which entitles him/her to FOUR lift tickets (ski, board, or tube) that may be used at times other than the regular scheduled day for a $10 fee. A person other than the club member may use the passes as long as the club member is present.  (Season and Summit Pass holders do not receive this) Rental Equipment is included with the pass, if applicable.
  • If you sign up early, before November 18th, your value pass(es)should be processed and available to be used during break.

The club travels via rental bus line. Once we arrive at Boston Mills, students may leave book bags and other belongings not needed for skiing on the bus. There are token-operated lockers at Boston Mills for shoes etc. The cost for the lockers is $1.00.

Once again our club will include students from St. Adalbert, St. Barthlolmew, and IWA. The bus will first pick up the students, along with Sue Caroscio, from St. Adalbert.        St. Bartholomew students will be picked up the Craciun Funeral Home parking lot next to St. Bart’s and then IWA.

Students will ski/board and take lessons between 3:30 and 6:45 at which time they are called off the slopes over the PA system.  We depart Boston Mills by 7:00pm and expect to be back at the Craciun Funeral Home, next to St. Bartholomew,  parking lot by 7:30pm.  All Students need to be picked up here.  The bus does not return to IWA or St. Adalbert.

The bus capacity is 55. Should we rise above 55 club members, we will go on a first come, first serve basis.  There will be an additional charge for transportation once we find out how many members we have.  The cost of the bus will be equally split between everyone riding the bus, for a round trip cost.  Last year the cost was $85 and is due by January 10, 2017.  An email will be sent to registered participants over break with the cost for this season.  Remember the more club members the less the bus will cost…rally your friends to join!

  • Checks are payable to “Carolyn Scherry.”

Registration is a 3-step process:

Step 1:

Log on to: http://www.mhski.org.  Click “Register” to begin with entering Parent Contact information.  This is an important and required step to stay informed with current information and register to ride the bus.

Step 2:

Continue to enter Child(ren) contact information

Step 3:

A link will direct you to the BMBW site http://bmbw.com/ or https://www.skipeakresorts.com/shopbmbw/.  First time registrants click on “Personal Login” to create an account.  Then click on the “Club Login” link on the right side of the page or in the box. Create your personal log in first, and then log into our club to use the easy, new registration!  Past members do not need to re-register on the BMBW site, just log in. There is an online tutorial for this process if needed.  The deadline to register online is December 16, 2016. Our club login name is: middleburg and our password is:  member.   If you have any questions please contact Sue Caroscio,

Mrs. Bender, Mr. & Mrs. Pavlescak, or Carolyn Scherry and we will help you.

Online Notes:  For more than one child click “add a Guest” to add additional children. You will only be paying BMBW for the Ski pass; transportation will be a separate payment to Carolyn Scherry once we have a confirmed number of bus riders.
